Police searching for person responsible for explosion in nightclub in Banovići

BANOVIĆI, (Patria) - Police are searching for an unknown person who last night threw an explosive device at the catering facility “QM” in Banovići, confirmed by the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton.

An investigation is ongoing at the scene of the explosion.

In the explosion that occurred last night, one male person was injured and transported to the Banovići Health Center.

The investigation is being conducted by members of the Criminal Police Department of the Police Administration (PU) Banovići, assisted by members of the Special Unit of the MUP TK from Tuzla.

This nightclub is owned by Mirsad Kukić, the dismissed president of the SDA Municipal Board Tuzla and vice-president of the SDA.

This incident occurred precisely at the time when the TK Assembly was electing a new government and prime minister, after the government of Bega Gutić was dismissed today by a parliamentary majority controlled by Mirsad Kukić, led by a majority of SDA Club representatives but also five SBB representatives.
