In most cities in the Federation of BiH today at 5 minutes to 12, the Citizens' Council will hold peaceful protests marking the first anniversary of the protests when the building of the Presidency of BiH, the Government of Sarajevo Canton, and buildings in Tuzla and Zenica were set on fire, writes the Patria news agency.
A large number of police agencies are on standby to ensure the protests proceed peacefully.
An Operational Staff of several police agencies has been formed. The staff's headquarters is at the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies in Sarajevo, and its goal is to monitor the security situation and cooperation between agencies.
In Sarajevo, the protest march will start from the Hygiene Institute to the Eternal Flame and back. Across from the building of the Presidency of BiH, banners expressing protests against the current situation in the country have already been placed.
Gatherings are planned in Tuzla, Zenica, Mostar, and Bihać.
