Police investigating the murder of an 80-year-old woman in Sarajevo

(Patria) - On 07/26/2022 at 9:05 PM, the dispatcher of the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service informed the Novo Sarajevo Police Department that in an apartment, on Aleja lipa street, Novo Sarajevo municipality, the lifeless body of F.B., born in 1942, residing in Sarajevo, was found.

The doctor-coroner determined that violent death is suspected. An on-site investigation was conducted by the duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office and police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Administration, who, under the supervision of the prosecutor, are taking measures and actions to clarify and document the criminal offense under Article 166, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Murder).
