(Patria) - Sarajevo police have found and identified the driver who yesterday hit a child (8) with a Mercedes in the Lužani settlement of Ilidža and then fled the scene of the accident.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Sarajevo Canton (KS) confirmed that the driver is a male identified by initials A.O., born in 1953, originally from Syria, and residing in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- The driver has been found and sanctioned in accordance with the law - MUP KS spokesperson Mersiha Novalić confirmed to the media.
