Police raided the homes and apartments of brothers Zdravko and Zoran Mamić this morning. The search of the apartments of the top officials of Dinamo Zagreb is being carried out by PN USKOK, and according to the order of the County Court in Zagreb, reports the Patria News Agency.
Zdravko Mamić's lawyer, Čedo Prodanović, is also at Zdravko Mamić's house. Index has confirmed that searches are also being conducted in the premises of Dinamo, in the offices used by the Mamić brothers.
- We inform you that, by order of the county court, an investigation is underway, conducted by PN USKOK, in which two of our members are being processed: executive president Zdravko Mamić and coach Zoran Mamić, Dinamo announced.
Unofficial information has spread that the Mamić brothers are under investigation for tax evasion. The Tax Administration told Index that they have no comment.
In a statement sent to the media, Dinamo stated that "the entire Croatian public knows that our club and individuals within it have been subject to control and supervision for years, and this is yet another in a series of such actions".
