Police suspect: Man from Srebrenica shot himself with a hunting rifle, after which he died

Police suspect that the man (38) who succumbed yesterday to gunshot wounds in Luka near Srebrenica most likely shot himself.

The Public Security Centre told the Bosnian news agency Patria that the injuries of the man found yesterday near Srebrenica most likely resulted from self-inflicted wounds due to careless handling of a hunting rifle.

Residents of Luka, where 27 Bosniak returnees live, earlier told Patria that their neighbour with initials N.S. was killed on Thursday.

He was found near a weekend cottage by his brother. The Public Security Centre suspects that the man succumbed to self-inflicted wounds from a hunting weapon.

The prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office in Bijeljina is working on shedding light on this case, NAP writes.
