Police interrupted budget discussion in Hadžići, Ministry of Interior says one thing, councillors another!

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Officers of the Hadžići Police Station intervened tonight at a public hearing on the budget of this municipality. Although the actors of this event claim the discussion was interrupted, the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton says this is not true.

"Upon a call from citizens that there was an excessive number of people in that hall, officers of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton went to the scene and established the factual situation. An inspection report was made and it goes further into procedure," said for Patria the spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, Mirza Hadžiabdić.

Councillors from the Hadžići Municipal Council claim the discussion was interrupted.

"Two police officers appeared at the door and called us to come out. As responsible persons, the assistants of Mayor Hamde Ejubović, Mensur Čović and Eldar Proha, entered the hall with the police officers. Everyone else dispersed," the councillors tell us.

For the entire situation, they blame Mayor Ejubović, because Hadžići has a large multimedia hall, but the Mayor's Cabinet does not allow any use of the hall.
