Police release details: Mulahasanović hit by two vehicles, both drivers arrested

(Patria) - The MUP KS Police Administration has released details about yesterday's accident on the fast road section between Mostarsko raskršće and Ilidža, in which Adis Mulahasanović lost his life.

"On 18.06.2025, around 18:40, a traffic accident occurred on the fast road section Mostarsko raskršće-Ilidža, in the area of Ilidža municipality. At that time, a passenger motor vehicle 'VW Passat', driven by M.P., born in 1983 in Sarajevo, residing in Ilidža, and a passenger motor vehicle 'VW Golf VI', driven by E.B., born in 1972 in Konjic, residing in Hadžići, collided with pedestrian A.M., born in 1981 in Sarajevo, where he also resided, who was near an 'Audi A4' motor vehicle, which he had previously stopped, most likely due to a malfunction.

The injured person received medical assistance from the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service. The doctor at KCUS confirmed the death of the injured 44-year-old at 19:53. The investigation was carried out by the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, members of the MUP KS Police Administration, and authorized court experts in mechanical and traffic engineering.

Due to the grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Serious Offenses Against Public Traffic Safety (Article 336, Paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code of FBiH) in connection with the criminal offense of Endangering Public Traffic (Article 332, Paragraph 3 of the same Law), drivers M.P. and E.B. were deprived of their liberty and handed over to the Detention Facility for Detained Persons of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton," the police announced.

Numerous friends and colleagues are bidding farewell to Mulahasanović. He was employed at the JU Dom zdravlja KS and was the president of the Association of Football Referees and Instructors of KS.
