Police at three locations: What led to the bloody clash in the center of Sarajevo

(Patria) - Numerous police teams are currently at several locations in the main thoroughfare in the center of Sarajevo, piecing together the events in which one person was killed and another injured. 

The Sarajevo Canton Police were informed around 7:50 PM that two people had been injured in the Centar Sarajevo municipality.

The same person, who was apprehended by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, is linked to the injuries inflicted with a knife at two different locations.

One person died from their injuries, while the other was transported to the hospital. 

The investigation is being led by the duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office. 

Tram traffic has been suspended, and police have cordoned off several locations with yellow tape.
