SARAJevo, (Patria) - Police officers of the Fourth Police Directorate last night at 9:45 PM in Gradačačka Street, municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, stopped and controlled a migrant who does not possess personal documents.
During the search, 12 packages containing a dry, herbaceous substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana were found and seized from him.
Due to the grounds for suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Article 239, Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Possession and Facilitation of Use of Narcotic Drugs), the unidentified person was deprived of liberty and handed over to the premises of the Unit for Security of Objects and Detention of Detained Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed. Police officers are continuing the criminal investigation of the unidentified person and establishing their identity.
