Police exclude motorcyclists and cyclists not using protective helmets from traffic

Of 258 motorcyclists and cyclists controlled by the police in Banja Luka, Prijedor, Laktaši, Gradiška, and Čelinac, as many as 143 were sanctioned for not complying with the Law on Road Traffic Safety in BiH, the police announced, reports Patria. 

The largest number of drivers were sanctioned because they did not use protective helmets while riding, or did not have a driving license for operating a motorcycle at all.

Twenty-one drivers were excluded from traffic - 20 for driving before obtaining the right to drive or not having the appropriate category (A and A1), and one driver for driving under the influence of alcohol, with an alcohol concentration of 2.48 g/kg measured in Čelinac, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, reports Patria.
