Police in Bosnia and Herzegovina have stepped up controls in rural areas where illegal logging may occur.
The Prnjavor Police Station announced that they arrested two men born in 1994 and 1991, as they found wooden logs in their possession for which they did not have the necessary documentation. The logs were returned to the owners.
A large number of citizens from rural areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina live from illegal logging. For some of them, it is their only source of income, writes Patria.
