In accordance with the signed Cooperation Agreement between the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies (FKKSS), about 80 participants of the summer school today (July 18, 2016), accompanied by lecturers, visited SIPA.
The participants had the opportunity to visit the base of the SIPA Special Support Unit, where they were presented with the organizational structure, competencies, and the role that SIPA plays in the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Subsequently, through a presentation of the Unit, part of the weaponry at the Unit's disposal, and a tactical-demonstration exercise, they became acquainted with the working methods and the role of this elite unit in combating the most complex forms of crime.
As part of the summer school, yesterday a SIPA police officer delivered a lecture to the summer school participants on the topic of "Crisis Management," and drawing from extensive experience gained working in security agencies, shared his knowledge and brought closer to the participants the method of managing the Unit in crisis situations.
Representatives of FKKSS expressed gratitude for the reception and welcome, and it was concluded that today's visit and the police officer's lecture were very successful and beneficial in multiple ways.
