Attempted to run over police officers, then arrested and lost his vehicle

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Traffic safety police officers in Doboj on Tuesday at 9:15 AM in Vidovdanska Street in Doboj arrested a person identified as B.Đ. (1947) from Doboj, and confiscated his "Chrysler" passenger car, with which he drove towards a police officer and a DIRG employee, after being previously warned by a police officer for improper parking.

Police officers of the PS for BS Doboj, along with DIRG employees from Doboj, while relocating improperly stopped and parked vehicles with a special "Pauk" (Spider) vehicle, a "Chrysler" passenger car driven by an unknown person stopped on the sidewalk in front of them in Vidovdanska Street in Doboj.

After a police officer approached the said vehicle intending to warn the driver that he could not park the vehicle there, the driver suddenly started the passenger car and drove towards the police officer and the DIRG employee, who managed to avoid contact with the vehicle, after which the unknown driver sped away towards the city center.

Immediately after the incident, a patrol of police officers from PS for BS Doboj was dispatched to the scene, who found the vehicle in Vidovdanska Street in Doboj and identified the driver.

After the case file is completed, a report on the committed criminal offense of "Endangering Safety" will be submitted to the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Doboj.
