Municipality of Ilidža's Gift to Citizens: Statehood Day of BiH Celebration with a Crvena Jabuka Concert

(Patria) - Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, November 25th, will be celebrated on Ilidža this year with a grand concert by the band Crvena Jabuka. 

With an open-air concert, which the Municipality of Ilidža is gifting to its citizens as well as all guests, the iconic Sarajevo band will mark one of the most important dates in the history of our country, which has not been the case in previous years. 

The Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidža, Nermin Muzur, emphasized that in addition to infrastructure programs, which are determined by the plan and program, as well as the needs of the citizens of the Municipality of Ilidža, projects such as the Crvena Jabuka concert have also been thoroughly considered. 

- In the ambiance of Rustempašina street, in the very center of Ilidža, a great spectacle will be held on November 25th, which we are gifting to our residents of Ilidža, as well as all residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and guests who will be in Ilidža that weekend - said Mayor Muzur, and added that he hopes that with this concert, the Municipality of Ilidža will embark on a new era of such events. 

The Mayor emphasized that in addition to marking and celebrating state holidays in Rustempašina street, the Municipality of Ilidža is planning to organize a series of such events and manifestations next summer, and confirmed the aspiration for Rustempašina street to become a large promenade and the center of all events in Ilidža in the future. 

- Our desire is for even the youngest to understand the charm of Statehood Day, which is an extremely important date in our history and which we want to mark worthily, but also to bring closer to our children - said the Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidža. 

Precisely because of this, students from all primary schools in the Municipality of Ilidža will be included in the all-day program of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina celebration with appropriate performances and musical acts. 

- I am glad that we have the opportunity to grace the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am glad that we are in Ilidža and that it has started to come alive with these beautiful projects, from Stojčevac to other events - said Dražen Žerić Žera, frontman of the band Crvena Jabuka, and added: 

- We will do our best to make the concert a true Bosnian-Herzegovinian, Sarajevo, Ilidža... It will surely be memorable, with the wish that Statehood Day be celebrated in such a way every year to come. 

At the end of the press conference, the Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidža Nermin Muzur, the President of the Municipal Council of Ilidža Tarik Stambolić, and the frontman of Crvena Jabuka Dražen Žerić Žera extended an open invitation to everyone to be part of the spectacular celebration of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Crvena Jabuka concert, which will be held on November 25th starting at 8 PM.
