He Appeared, Sang, and Electrified the Region: Isak Šabanović Paved His Way to the Showbiz Sky

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Ever since he thrilled the entire region with his emotional performance packed with a show program "Zvezde Granda" before New Year's 2021, Isak Šabanović has been in the spotlight of the regional audience following this music competition.

Šabanović's performance brought the jury to their feet, and the audience has not stopped showering him with compliments and support ever since.

It seems that with that guest appearance, he took the first step on the path to who knows where in the world of showbiz. When such talent is discovered, there are no limits.

He plays the piano just for his soul, and so far he has released four songs: "Moj slatki anđele", "U meni još uvijek snage ima", "Ti moja si", and "Šta je od nas ostalo". Recording an album is something he wishes for, and besides singing Tifa's songs, he likes to share his quote "We live in Disneyland, we hope for a happy ending", CdM reports.

When asked how he is handling the popularity that followed his performance, Isak says: "I still haven't realized what happened, nothing is the same, I still need time to understand everything."

"After 10 years, I was with my parents and brother. I enjoyed the family atmosphere and the holiday season. I haven't waited for the New Year with my family for a long time, because I always had engagements in Montenegro," says Šabanović.

He points out that it took him a long time "to decide to apply for the audition".

"First, I don't like competitions, and then you need to gather the courage to appear before the names of the Ex Yu showbiz. In the end, I said, 'Why not?' It hasn't been a folk music competition for a long time, besides, it's the most watched show in this region and beyond. I saw an opportunity to present myself and show everything I know," explains the talented singer.

He is aware that he has set a big task for himself.

"I have set a big task for myself that I need to complete in the best possible way, I have the will, the energy as well, and we'll see about the rest. I will do my best, first to justify the trust Mili has shown me, and then to use my five minutes of fame that can change my whole life," concluded Šabanović in an interview with CdM.
