(Patria) - The total number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has exceeded 35,000, health authorities in the enclave announced.
Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli military killed 63 Palestinians and wounded another 114 people.
This brings the total number of dead to 35,034 and the wounded to 78,755 since the outbreak of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on October 7, the statement said.
The statement added that a number of victims remain under the rubble, but that emergency teams and civil defense cannot reach them, the Xinhua news agency reported.
Israel launched a major offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip following an attack by its members on southern Israel on October 7 last year, in which about 1,200 people were killed and about 250 taken hostage.
