BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA'S SUPPORT FROM THE LARGEST GROUP IN THE EP Šepić in Brussels with the President of the European People's Party

Member of the BiH Parliament and Chairman of the BiH PS Delegation to the Council of Europe Senad Šepić met today in Brussels at the headquarters of the European People's Party (EPP) with President Joseph Daul, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Daul and Šepić discussed the processes of fulfilling BiH's conditions on its European path and strengthening the cooperation of parties that signed the joint declaration on European values. The declaration was signed by people's parties in BiH in April last year, which enabled faster government formation and stabilization of political circumstances in BiH, as well as a different approach from the EU towards BiH and the opening of a positive relationship towards our country after years of stagnation and blockade due to the failure to meet the conditions from the Sejdić-Finci ruling.

Daul and Šepić agreed that it is important to seize this moment and truly work on reforms that will move the country forward, establish the rule of law, and enable the development of stable institutions that are needed by all citizens in BiH.

The European People's Party will support such a policy and relations in BiH through its programs in the coming period. It is expected that President Daul will also meet on Wednesday with members of the BiH Presidency, Bakir Izetbegović and Dragan Čović, who will be staying in Brussels and participating in a conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Dayton, writes NAP.
