Biden's Support at Lowest Level in Two Years

(Patria) - Support for US President Joe Biden fell to its lowest level in nearly two years this month, matching the lowest percentage of his term.

This was shown by a Reuters and Ipsos poll released yesterday, according to which only 36 percent of Americans approve of Biden's work, a drop from 38 percent in April, Hina reports.

This is a return to the lowest support for the Democratic president from July 2022, six months before Biden will face Republican candidate Donald Trump in the elections on November 5.

Former President Trump has a slight lead over the current President Biden in key swing states believed to determine the winner.

Another Reuters and Ipsos poll also showed that many Democrats disagree with Biden's response to the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip, which further jeopardizes his prospects in the November elections.
