(Patria) - Ukraine has absolutely nothing to do with the shooting in Moscow, said Ukrainian presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak, describing the attack as a terrorist act.

"Let's be clear, Ukraine has absolutely nothing to do with these events. There is not the slightest doubt that the events in Moscow will contribute to a sharp increase in military propaganda, accelerated militarization, expanded mobilization, and ultimately, the scale of the war.

It will also serve as justification for the obvious genocidal attacks on the civilian population of Ukraine," Podolyak stated on social media, whose country has been fighting against the Russian invasion for two years.

The Freedom of Russia group, which unites Russian anti-Kremlin fighters based in Ukraine, also denied any involvement in the deadly armed attack on a concert hall in the Moscow suburbs.

"We emphasize that the Legion does not fight against Russian civilians," said the group, which blames "Putin's terrorist regime."
