Arson attack on BMW car

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo police were informed on the night of June 18 that a fire broke out on a "BMW" car, owned by B.E. from Sarajevo, in Hekim Ogul paše street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality.

- The fire was extinguished by members of the Sarajevo Canton Fire Department. No one was injured, and the vehicle sustained material damage.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed. The investigation was carried out by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton and an authorized court expert from the Fire Protection Service.

- The investigation concluded that the fire was caused by an open flame used by an unknown perpetrator. Police officers are continuing their work to shed light on and document the described criminal offense - it was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
