Indictment Filed Against Semir Rastoder for Accident in Which Hava Dovadžija Died

The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo has filed an indictment against Semir Rastoder, who is charged with a serious criminal offense against public traffic safety. The indictment was confirmed by the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, confirmed for the Bosnian news agency Patria by the spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton, Alem Hamzić.

We recall, the driver of the car, Semir Rastoder (25), while moving at high speed from the direction of Ilidža, hit pedestrian Hava Dovadžija at a pedestrian crossing in Nedžarići on April 1, who died at the scene, and Rastoder was released immediately after the accident. Incidentally, the investigation in this case lasted more than 6 months.

A few days later, protests were organized at the accident site due to his release. Hava Dovadžija is survived by her husband Amar Dovadžija and two minor daughters.
