
SARAJevo, (Patria) - The BiH Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment for migrant smuggling against Luka Miličević from Trebinje. The accused is charged with participating in the smuggling of four illegal migrants from Syria at the beginning of last year, who did not meet the conditions for legal stay in BiH.
The accused is charged that during February 2018, with the intention of gaining unlawful property benefit, he agreed to participate in the smuggling of four illegal migrants from Syria, who did not possess valid travel documents or conditions for legal stay in BiH, and who had illegally entered BiH from Montenegro, and he also agreed to transport them through BiH towards EU countries.
The accused was discovered and prevented from committing the criminal offense by police officers of the Trebinje Police Department. The accused is charged with the criminal offense of human smuggling under Article 189, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
