Under the guise of fighting terrorism, war aims are being pursued in BiH

On the occasion of May 9, Victory Day over Fascism, the Bosniak National Foundation organized a public debate in Sarajevo on the topic "Bosniaks under Greater Serbian Occupation", the Patria News Agency reports.

Participants in the public debate were journalist and publicist mr. Fatmir Alispahić, president of the Bosniak Movement for Equality of Peoples Sejfudin Tokić, and member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Šemsudin Mehmedović, as well as other Bosniak intellectuals and activists.

The reason for organizing this meeting is the concern of a certain number of intellectuals and citizens due to the actions of security structures in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and primarily the police of Republika Srpska, which recently carried out a form of repression against Bosniak returnees in the smaller BiH entity, and the fact that Bosniaks in the post-Dayton state of Bosnia and Herzegovina found themselves without defense capabilities.

Tokić emphasized on this occasion that the recent events in the country are a continuation of attempts to create an ethnic division of Bosnia and Herzegovina and to reduce the living space of Bosniaks to 20-25% by political parties in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the support of political Belgrade and Zagreb.

Analyzing the problems faced by Bosniaks, Šemsudin Mehmedović stated that it is primarily about the insecurity of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in one part of the country, and that a special war is actually being waged against Bosniaks.

"Under the guise of fighting terrorism, the war aim of those who committed or assisted the aggression against the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992-1995 is actually being pursued," Mehmedović emphasized.

In order to protect against the emergence of security and legal chaos in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the guise of insecurity and fear of the people, one of the conclusions of the public debate is the necessity of an institutional solution to the problems of the Bosniak people.

The moderator of the public debate, mr. Fatmir Alispahić, emphasized the necessity of organizing Sunday sessions on topics important to Bosniaks, based on which a request will be sent to the World Bosniak Congress and the Bosniak National Foundation to organize them, it was announced from BNF.
