The main Box Office for the 25th Sarajevo Film Festival opens

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The main Box Office for ticket sales for the 25th Sarajevo Film Festival opens on Friday at 10 AM, and the Festival Directorate has announced that the first customers will be rewarded.

The main Box Office is located at the Bosnian Cultural Centre (BKC, Branilaca Sarajeva 24).

This year again, the Sarajevo Film Festival rewards its audience: the first 10 customers will receive 10 free tickets each, as well as a poster of this year's Festival, which is held under the motto Sarajevo mon amour (Sarajevo my love).

Box Office opening hours: August 9 and 10 from 10 AM to 7 PM, August 11 and 12 from 12 PM to 4 PM, August 13 to 15 from 10 AM to 7 PM, and during the Festival, from August 16 to 23, from 8:30 AM to 10 PM. Tickets can also be purchased online.

Final preparations for the festival locations are also being completed. Today, the largest cinema screen in the region was erected at the Raiffeisen Open Air Cinema. Watching films from the Open Air program, under the open sky, where more than 3,000 film enthusiasts gather every festival evening, is a special experience. The Open Air program at this year's most attractive festival location, in addition to the opening film, features seven award-winning works: on the first night, the film SIN by BiH director Ines Tanović will be screened (August 16), which will have its world premiere in the Competition Program (feature film).

On Saturday, August 17, TUGA I SLAVA / DOLOR Y GLORIA (Spain, 2019, 113 min., director: Pedro Almodóvar) will be screened, on Sunday, August 18, JADNICI / LES MISÉRABLES (France, 2019, 102 min., director: Ladj Ly), on Monday, August 19, PARAZIT / GISAENGCHUNG (South Korea, 2019, 131 min, director: Joon Ho Bong), on Tuesday, August 20, ŠAVOVI (Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2019, 105 min., director: Miroslav Terzić), on Wednesday, August 21, TO MORA BITI RAJ / IT MUST BE HEAVEN (France, Qatar, Germany, Canada, Turkey, Palestine, 2019, 97 min., director: Elia Suleiman), on Thursday, August 22, LIJEPO DOBA / LA BELLE ÉPOQUE (France, 2019, 115 min., director: Nicolas Bedos), and on Friday, August 23, BILO JEDNOM... U HOLLYWOODU / ONCE UPON A TIME ... IN HOLLYWOODU (USA, United Kingdom, 2019, 159 min., director: Quentin Tarantino).

Today, the director of the Sarajevo Film Festival, Mirsad Purivatra, visited the festival locations.

The Sarajevo Film Festival will be held from August 16 to 23 under the auspices of UNESCO.
