(Patria) - US President Donald Trump could be invited to Beijing in early September for a meeting with Chinese and Russian Presidents Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin, The Times reported, according to TASS.
It is stated that a series of trade agreements between the United States and China have forced Trump to reconsider his hostile stance towards Beijing, which has led to speculation about a possible invitation to the US leader to the Chinese capital for a military parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of victory in World War II.
Earlier, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said that Putin would visit China in late August and early September to participate in events dedicated to World War II.
A military parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of victory in World War II and the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression will be held in Beijing on September 3.
At the parade, China will present domestically produced weapons with which its army is equipped.
