FBiH Government Session Begins, Draft Budget for 2020 on the Agenda

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Government of the Federation of BiH will, at today's session which began in Sarajevo, declare its position on the draft budget of the Federation of BiH for 2020 and the Law on its execution.

In order to enable prerequisites for the transition of the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Fund to treasury operations, the draft amendments to the Law on Treasury and the Law on Budgets, as well as amendments to the Law on Contributions, are also on the agenda, announced the Office of the Government of FBiH for Public Relations.

The Government will consider the proposed amendments to the Decision on the adoption of the Program for the expenditure of funds from the FBiH budget for 2019 by the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry for the position of subsidies to public enterprises intended for linking up employment records.

The agenda also includes information on the development of the Federal Environmental Protection Strategy for the period 2020-2030, which will contain common strategic goals encompassing a long-term vision of environmental protection policy in BiH.
