SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina began in Sarajevo with the verification of mandates of Bajro Makić, Salem Marić, and Matea Čakalin.
They are replacing Mirsad Peco (deceased), Osman Ćatić (elected mayor of Konjic), and Boris Marjanović (elected mayor of Vitez).
Before the discussion of the agenda, Amela Kuskunović pointed out that the discussion on health status and healthcare in 2018 was planned as the 10th item, stating that it made no sense to discuss it in a year during which a pandemic was raging.
Presiding officer Mirsad Zaimović accepted the proposal and announced the withdrawal of the item, and its inclusion when the reports for 2019 and 2020 are addressed.
President of the DF club, Alma Kratina, reminded that at the previous session, an conclusion was agreed upon that the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina would consider information on the health status in this entity at each session during the pandemic.
Irfan Čengić proposed that the decision of the Constitutional Court on epidemiological measures adopted by the institutions of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the coronavirus pandemic, specifically on mandatory mask-wearing and the curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM, be included in the agenda.
The initiative did not receive the support of the representatives.
In the end, the agenda was adopted, and item 10 was removed. That item concerned the health status and healthcare in 2018.
