Session of the House of Representatives of FBiH begins, budget adoption expected

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The regular session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH has begun in Sarajevo, where the adoption of the entity's budget for 2022 is expected.

When determining the agenda, the Speaker Mirsad Zaimović stated that he had received a request to consider the draft laws on veteran rights at today's session by the FBiH Government and the People and Justice Club. However, as he said, due to procedural reasons, he proposed that these laws be considered at an extraordinary session of the House of Representatives in about 10 days, not today.

Representatives Irfan Čengić and Sanela Prašović proposed the Resolution on the Public Interest of the Functioning of the Public Radio-Television Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina - BHRT, as an agenda item.

The head of the SDP BiH Club, Damir Mašić, reminded of the adopted conclusion in this House, according to which the laws on income tax and contributions cannot be considered without the law on minimum wage, and that they demand it be considered today.

"If there is no majority to adopt the inclusion of this proposal on the agenda, let someone put it on the agenda for a vote on the annulment of the conclusions," Mašić added.

The State Club proposed that the draft laws on contributions and income tax be removed from the agenda. The proposal of the State Coalition did not receive support after either electronic or individual voting.

The proposal of representatives Irfan Čengić and Sanela Prašović - Gadžo was included as a supplemented agenda item.

The proposal of the SDP Club of Representatives to include the Draft Law on Minimum Wage in the agenda under an urgent procedure received support and will be considered today.
