House of Peoples of FBiH session started, budget for 2022 before delegates

SARAJevo, (Patria) - An extraordinary session of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH began in the afternoon hours in Sarajevo, and the most important item on the agenda for the delegates is the Budget Proposal of the FBiH for 2022.

This is a Budget Proposal in the amount of 5.6 billion KM, the largest in the history of the Federation.

The budget was supported by the House of Representatives of this parliament three days ago, so if the House of Peoples accepts it today in its identical text, the conditions for its entry into force will be met.

Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić presented the budget to the delegates, stating that it is the largest in the history of FBiH and that the budget has been affected by both the COVID pandemic crisis and the aggression against Ukraine by the Russian Federation.

Novalić also presented the main capital projects and the largest allocations in the budget structure.

The budget of the Federation of BiH for 2022 is proposed in the amount of 5,597,618,777 KM and is 2 percent higher than the budget of the Federation of BiH for 2021, or 116.4 million KM.
