Sarajevo's spring cleaning campaign begins, will last over a month

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo's spring cleaning campaign, which will last more than a month, began last night with street washing in the central part of the city.

It is planned that activities will be carried out in the municipalities of Centar and Stari Grad over the next seven days.

In addition to cleaning and washing streets, work will also be done on arranging public areas and parks, riverbeds, removing illegal dumps, and collecting bulky waste...

"The spring campaign for collecting bulky waste began on April 25 and will last until May 22. All citizens can dispose of bulky waste during the weekends in this period, so that utility company workers can collect and transport it during the work week. We have provided the locations to all local communities," said Vera Arnautović, director of KJKP "Rad".
