Construction of a private hospital begins in Otoka, an investment worth 60 million euros

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The first phase of construction of the first private general hospital in Sarajevo and the municipality of Novi Grad began in March this year. The project, worth around 60 million euros, is multiply significant for our economy, healthcare system, but also for the overall living environment in our city, announced the mayor of Novi Grad municipality, Semir Efendić. 

"The project will be located next to the central facility of the Novi Grad Health Center in Otoka, thus forming a health complex of a health center and a hospital in one place. The hospital will ultimately employ several hundred doctors and other medical and non-medical staff who will not have to seek employment outside our country.

After the construction of the Bingo shopping center with multiplex cinemas and other facilities in Džemala Bijedića street, the construction of the hospital is the second project successfully realized on the ashes of past scandals we encountered in the municipality of Novi Grad. We said NO to racketeering and corruption a long time ago," wrote Efendić.
