Winner of the Ilidža 2023 Folk Music Festival is Merjem Alihodžić with 'Pjesmo moja'

(Patria) - On the packed Ilidža Summer Stage, the title of winning song at the Competition Evening of the Ilidža
Folk Music Festival 2023 was won by Merjem Alihodžić and "Pjesmo moja".

This composition received the highest number of points from the expert jury and SMS votes from the audience, and the award for the best song of this year's festival was presented by the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur.

- It was truly a beautiful night and a special emotion. The Summer Stage, which was filled to the last seat, is just an indicator of how much this festival means to the people of Ilidža. I congratulate all participants, and I wish our Merjem much success in the continuation of her career. - emphasized Mayor Muzur.

The expert jury for the first festival competition night consisted of: Hanka Paldum, Snežana Đurišić, Armin Šaković, Benjamin Isović, Fadil Šabović, Ashar Kurtović and Branko Uvodić.

A total of fifteen compositions and performers took part in the competition evening, and three awards were presented: for best arrangement, best lyrics, and best music. The award for best arrangement was given to Suad Jukić for the composition "Jedan mi je život malo", presented by the director of BHRT Music Production, Jasmin Ferović.

The award for best lyrics was won by the composition "Pjesmo moja", authored by Mensura Bajraktarević. The award was presented by the General Director of BHRT, Belmin Karamehmedović. The award for best music was given to the track "Pjesmo moja", also authored by Mensura Bajraktarević. The award was presented by Bosnian singer and president of the expert jury, Hanka Paldum.

Tonight, at the Gala Night of the Ilidža 2023 Folk Music Festival, big names of the folk music scene will perform, such as Hanka Paldum, Snežana Đurišić, Dragan Kojić Keba, Nikola Rokvić, Muharem Serbezovski, Elvira Rahić, Slađana Mandić, Nedžad Salković, Ferid Avdić, Nihad Alibegović, Cecilija, Hamid Ragipović Besko, Šefćet Hamidović Ringo, and a surprise guest.
