Searches conducted in PS Vitez and WGD Vitez on the order of POSKOK

(Patria) - Under the supervision of the acting federal prosecutor of the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor's Office of FBiH (POSKOK), members of the Federal Police Administration have been conducting an operation codenamed "Barut" since the early morning hours.

The operation is being conducted with the aim of documenting the criminal offenses of Abuse of Position or Authority, and Illegal Possession of Weapons or Explosive Materials.

"The investigation covers several individuals in connection with the process of selling the assets of PS Vitezit doo Vitez in bankruptcy, intended for the production of weapons and military equipment, as well as for criminal offenses suspected to have been committed after the buyer WDG doo Zagreb took possession of this company," the statement reads.

Searches are underway at PS Vitez doo in bankruptcy, the legal entity WDG doo Vitez, and at several locations in the Central Bosnia Canton.
