(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested one person in the area of Zenica based on an international Interpol warrant.
The international warrant was issued by NCB Interpol Prague with the aim of arresting and extraditing the said person to the Czech Republic. The arrested person is sought by Interpol Prague for criminal prosecution for the criminal offense of "Attempted Murder" under Article 219 of the Criminal Code of the Czech Republic and "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" under Article 187 of the Criminal Code of the Czech Republic.
Based on operational intelligence, SIPA police officers located the said person in the area of Zenica, after which they were arrested and brought to SIPA premises for criminal processing.
Upon completion of the aforementioned activities, the arrested person will be handed over to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further proceedings.
