Following citizen report, police caught burglar with stolen items

On Tuesday around 12:00 PM, citizens alerted the Third Police Station that a burglary was in progress at an apartment in Milan Prelog Street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton announced, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria. 

- Upon arriving at the scene, police officers found and apprehended P.R., born in 1977 in Sarajevo, where he resides, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of burglary. During a search, stolen items and burglary tools were found and seized from him.

After the completion of the criminal investigation, P.R. will be handed over to the competent prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo today, along with a report on the committed criminal offense.
