(Patria) - The Croatian government calls on Iran to exercise restraint and abandon its ambitions to develop nuclear weapons, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said on network X after last night's US bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities.
"On the occasion of last night's US bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities, the Croatian Government expresses deep concern about the danger of an uncontrolled spiral of war in the Middle East.
We call on Iran for restraint and to abandon its ambitions of acquiring nuclear weapons.
Regional instability threatens international security, carries the risk of serious disruptions to global energy flows, and can trigger wider destabilization with far-reaching global consequences.
Dialogue and negotiations should be at the center of joint action," Plenković stated.
