Plenković to warn NATO about Serbia's armament, Vučić fears military alliance of Zagreb, Tirana and Pristina

(Patria) - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković stated that Croatia does not expect Serbia to be in a position to use hypersonic missiles against neighboring countries, Croatia or any other.

When asked by journalists in Požega whether the hypersonic missile, dubbed "Zagrepčanka" by Serbian tabloids, poses a threat to Croatia, he replied that it is a serious weapon that Croatia will discuss with its NATO partners.

"We will talk to our partners in the NATO alliance and warn them about such armament, which is new in the arsenal of the Serbian Army," said Plenković.

He also emphasized that Croatia has been investing heavily in its army all these years.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated in an interview for Radio-Television of Serbia (RTS) that these are CM-400 missiles with destructive power, capable of hitting targets at distances of up to 200 and 400 kilometers.

"We have a significant number of these missiles and we will have even more," said Vučić.

He added that he fears a military alliance of Zagreb, Tirana and Pristina and reiterated that it is directed against Belgrade and that "they are just waiting for a larger conflict in the world to attack."

"We are preparing for their attack, they are forming an alliance to attack us. They are waiting for a moment that will happen in the future when a major conflict breaks out between Europe and Russia and in the Middle East. We are doing all this to defend ourselves. They are waiting for chaos in the world to present them with an opportunity," said Vučić.
