Drunk driver crashed a Passat into a bakery in Kalesija

(Patria) - On a section of the M4 highway in the village of Prnjavor, municipality of Kalesija, a traffic accident occurred last night around 10:30 PM, in which M.K. (1995), residing in Kalesija, driving a Passat, veered off the road and hit a bakery building.

During the incident, a bakery worker (1973) sustained hand injuries.

During an alcohol test, the driver was found to have alcohol in his system, for which reason he was detained in the official premises of the Kalesija Police Station until he sobered up.

The cantonal prosecutor was informed of the incident, and an investigation was carried out by police officers who, under the order of the cantonal prosecutor, are continuing further work to document this event.
