Drunk Sarajevan (33) Physically Assaults Trolleybus Driver, Police Arrest Him

(Patria) - A man with initials T.V. (1992) from Sarajevo physically attacked a trolleybus driver tonight while intoxicated.

The incident occurred around 6:30 PM at the Trg Austrije trolleybus station, Stari Grad municipality.

On that occasion, the assailant also caused material damage to the public city transport vehicle.

At the time of the alcohol test, the 33-year-old had a blood alcohol level of 1.43 per mille.

The driver is being examined at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo to determine the extent of his injuries, and the perpetrator has been taken into custody.

The prosecutor has been notified, and police officers are on the scene, the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton stated.
