(Patria) - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that his country will not negotiate with the US as long as it is threatened.
He told US President Donald Trump to do whatever he wants, Iranian state media reported yesterday.
- It is not acceptable for us that the US orders and threatens. I will not negotiate with you either. Do whatever the hell you want - Pezeshkian said.
Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Saturday that Tehran will not allow itself to be forced into negotiations, a day after Trump said he had sent a letter to Iran inviting it to negotiate a new nuclear deal.
Expressing openness to a deal with Tehran, Trump is again campaigning for "maximum pressure" as in his first term to isolate Iran from the global economy and cut off its oil exports.
