(Patria) - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has sent a letter of resignation to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, reports media outlet "Iran International" citing an informed source.
In the reported letter, Pezeshkian warns that power in the country has fallen under the complete control of commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
It further states that his administration has been completely isolated from key decision-making processes since the start of the war with the United States and Israel in February.
The report notes that it is unclear whether Khamenei will accept Pezeshkian's resignation.
