PETROVO One person killed, another wounded, attacker commits suicide

(Patria) - One person was killed and one wounded after being shot with a firearm in Kakmuž, Petrovo municipality, the Doboj Police Administration told Srna.

The police state that the attacker committed suicide and that a weapon was found next to him.

The police received the report at 11:30 a.m.

The Doboj Police Administration announced that police officers acted immediately upon the report, confirmed the allegations, and established that the killed person was identified by the initials N.R., and the wounded person by the initials D.D., both from the area of Petrovo municipality.

- It was established that the perpetrator is a person with the initials R.R., who then committed suicide. Police officers found an automatic rifle next to the body of the person with the initials R.R. An investigation is underway, and the duty prosecutor of the Doboj District Public Prosecutor's Office has been informed of everything, the statement said.

The man went on a bloody rampage with a firearm, due to, as unofficially learned, unresolved property issues. The attacker allegedly killed one neighbor and wounded another, after which he took his own life.
