In a traffic accident that occurred around 8 a.m. this morning in the place of Stupe, Ilijaš municipality, five people were injured, including three children with minor injuries, reports the Patria news agency.
- Two people were brought to the Emergency Medical Center. A man, M. T. (born 1958), sustained severe head injuries and has been placed in the Intensive Care Unit of the Neurosurgery Clinic, and is in very serious condition. A patient, N. M. S. (born 1963), sustained minor physical injuries, was referred to Thoracic Surgery, and will be discharged home during the day, Muamera Šehić, spokesperson for the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, told Patria.
The accident occurred when the driver of a KIA car lost control of the vehicle and hit a protective barrier.
An investigation at the scene of the accident was conducted by members of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton.
