Minister of Defence of BiH Marina Pendeš held a meeting with the Commander of the NATO HQ in BiH, Brigadier General Robert A. Huston, with whom she exchanged views on current activities in the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH and cooperation with the NATO HQ in Sarajevo, reports the Patria agency.
Special attention was paid to upcoming activities on fulfilling the conditions for Bosnia and Herzegovina's accession to the NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) and the obligations of the Ministry of Defence in the NATO integration process.
Minister Pendeš thanked General Huston for the support provided so far by the NATO HQ in Sarajevo and expressed expectations for the continuation of successful cooperation, especially in the process of registering perspective military property, in which the NATO HQ in Sarajevo provides significant support to the Ministry of Defence of BiH.
General Huston once again emphasized the commitment of the NATO HQ in Sarajevo to intensive cooperation in the field of defence, all with the aim of the fastest possible accession of BiH to the NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP).
