Pendeš and BiH Armed Forces delegation at NATO ministerial meeting

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marina Pendeš will lead the delegation of the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces of BiH at the NATO ministerial meeting in the format of "Resolute Support", which will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019, in Brussels.

The meeting will be attended by defence ministers of NATO member states and partner countries whose members participate in the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan. They are expected to discuss the political and military situation in Afghanistan, the continuation of financial support for the security forces of Afghanistan, as well as the challenges they may face in further carrying out this mission.

In addition to Minister Pendeš, the delegation of the MoD and AF BiH will include Assistant Minister of Defence for International Cooperation Zoran Šajinović, advisor in the office of the Minister of Defence Jakov Križanović, Head of the Military Part of the BiH Mission to NATO Brigadier Jasmin Čajić, and Deputy Head of the Military Part of the BiH Mission to NATO Brigadier Velibor Purković.
