House of Representatives of BiH adopts Draft Budget for 2022, no amendments

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH adopted the Draft Law on the Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of BiH for 2022 in its second reading, proposed by the Presidency of BiH. This law must also pass through the House of Peoples of BiH. During the day, the Draft was adopted in the first reading, and there were no amendments to the Draft.

21 representatives voted for the budget, eight were against, and four abstained.

Total revenues, receipts, and financing of BiH institutions in 2022 amount to 1,073,600,000 KM, while the servicing of BiH's external debt amounts to 819,189,119 KM.

During the day, representatives criticized the salary increases for both ministers and representatives, amounting to almost 500 KM, while soldiers and police officers will receive an increase of around 80 KM.
