SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Privredna banka Sarajevo has decided not to do business with clients involved in cryptocurrencies and gambling, as well as those whose owners are registered in off-shore zones.
The bank reported that its Supervisory Board decided that the Bank will not establish business relationships with individuals who intend to conduct transactions of buying and selling digital/crypto currencies, i.e., intend to do business with crypto exchanges, legal entities engaged in trading and brokering crypto/digital currencies, legal entities whose owners are registered in offshore zones, as well as legal entities engaged in gambling (casinos).
- If, during the business relationship, the Bank determines that the client is engaged in the aforementioned activities, the Bank has the right to decide to terminate the business relationship with that client, stated Privredna banka Sarajevo.
This bank explains its decision by the need to eliminate risks that certain client activities may cause to the Bank.
