BiH Pavilion at EXPO Functioning, 56 Business Entities Presented

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Since its opening in mid-December until today, the pavilion of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the world exhibition Expo in Dubai has been visited by more than 110,000 people, who in this way have become acquainted with the beauties, sights, and economic potentials of our country.

In February alone, it was visited by more than 43,000 people, or an average of 1,566 people per day.

Our pavilion showcases all our spectacular landscapes and natural beauties, unique handicrafts, and original items from the National Museum of BiH. Also, the pavilion serves as a business center where numerous Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies from various economic sectors are presented, coming to Dubai with the aim of best presenting their industry, establishing contacts, and potentially starting business cooperation with potential business partners.

So far, 56 business entities from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina have presented themselves at Expo, and by the end of the exhibition, a total of 78 are planned to present their potentials. Tourist boards, as well as student projects, also have the opportunity to present themselves.

Entrepreneurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina are unanimous in their view that establishing business contacts and potentially initiating business cooperation is the greatest value of the opportunity provided to participate in Expo 2020.

The significance of presenting at Expo, as well as the potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was discussed in today's interview for Dubai TV by the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton, Edin Forto.

Among other things, he stated that BiH is presenting itself at Expo as a country with significant investment potential, possessing a long industrial heritage, and is also recognized for its talented people who are trained, highly educated, and specialized in various fields of business.
