Problems and numerous shortcomings in the work of BiH judicial institutions, about which the Patria News Agency has been warning for months by writing about major scandals and spectacular arrests in front of TV cameras, after which investigations do not move from a standstill, were also discussed today in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
The President of the Court of BiH, Meddžida Kreso, warned about this publicly four months ago on FTV's "Pošteno" show, stating that there is a judicial mafia in BiH, but neither politicians nor the HJPC reacted to her statement, nor did they take it seriously.
Thus, delegate from the Club of the Croat People, Mario Karamatić, during today's discussion of the Annual Report of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of BiH for 2013, said that the report itself was written correctly.
- However, we are witnesses to spectacular arrests and the release of suspects overnight, and the HJPC does not react. For example, all those arrested in the Gibraltar affair were arrested and then released, even though it concerns the withdrawal of money through "offshore" companies, which was also investigated by the Slovenian and Austrian police.
After that, the prosecutor submitted the indictment in English - Karamatić emphasized.
Patria wrote immediately after the arrest of the suspects in the Gibraltar affair about prosecutor Dragica Glušac, who came unprepared to the hearing with evidence in English, which shocked the judge Minka Kreho as well, whose hands were tied, and due to these omissions, the suspects were released.
Prosecutor Glušac then suddenly went on sick leave, and the case was taken over by prosecutor Miroslav Janjić.
